What Makes the Ci Investment Worthwhile?

Many people who explore our website are curious as to why Ci is a larger investment than the average Christian camp. I would like to clarify the value behind this investment.

In order to accomplish all of the activities that I believe God would have us accomplish in the lives of the campers, here’s a summary of how we arrive at our costs for each camp. It is the sum of fixed costs and variable costs.

  • fixed costs (costs we incur regardless how many campers we have)
  • each counselor & teacher  is receiving a week of apologetics training from AiG to help prepare them to have maximum, life transforming impact  on the life of each camper to whom they will minister
  • counselor & teacher room and board during camp
  • counselor & teacher admission fees to all museums
  • counselor & teacher pay
  • bus transportation to take campers and counselors to each museum (we travel 3 out of 6 days)
  • speaker honorariums (several speakers for the week)
  • variable costs (additional costs we incur for each camper)
  • room & board for 6 days
  • admission to all museums (Creation Museum, Cincinnati Science Center, Big Bone Lick State Park)
  • all STEM activities (Physics Zipline Adventure, Geocaching Adventure, Robotics Workshop, iPad assigned to each camper)
  • AiG Resource Library Pack (each camper will take home a library pack selected by our speakers for the week)
  • awards, daily snacks, Ci T-shirt, cinch bag, and much more

We are offer scholarships to qualified students from financially needy families. If you would like to provide a scholarship for a camper for an unprecedented week of camp, you can donate using PayPal. Simply use this secure donation link. Your entire donation will be applied to help needy campers. Camp Infinity is a registered 501c3 with the IRS.

Consider helping Camp Infinity be able to inspire young people to discover wonder and amazement in everything they see in the world around them and teach them to face each day with an insatiable curiosity that drives them into a closer relationship with the Infinite One who created it all.

In addition, to help us get more students, we would like to offer each parent of a student the following incentive to help reduce your cost and at the same time help us reach our break even enrollment.

For each camper you help us recruit, we will give you a referral discount.  For details of this referral program, explore this blog
